Weekly Update: June 6, 2016

Oh my goodness! We’ve made it!! Thank you for all of your support and hard work this school year. You have made it a great first year for me here at Emory. I appreciate all that you have done to help our students grow both academically and socially. I wish you a relaxing and fun summer with your friends and family.

Summer Professional Development Opportunities:

I encourage you to attend the District’s summer professional learning offerings. There are many opportunities to learn from a variety of different presenters.

Thank you for your hard work chasing down Emory school library books. Please do all that you can to get all of our books back to Teresa.

Staff Updates:

I am happy to write that Rebecca Carson will start the 16-17 school year as a full time first grade teacher in room 3. Also Christy Schultz (from IB West Campus) will join the Emory Family as our TK/K combo teacher. Please help me make her feel welcome and supported.

Prep Days:

The first day for classroom teachers is Tuesday, July 19th. The District Kickoff will be in the morning on Wednesday, July 20th and I we will have site PD on July 21 and 22.

Coach’s Corner:
