Parent/Guardian LCAP input survey:
Many of you send home a digital newsletter or communicate electronically (dojo, google, etc). As we are in the process of collecting input from families (and the more responses the more valid the data), please share the links below which will take our families to the annual Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) survey.
No staff meeting this week, though we have a School Site Council meeting at 1:30 in the staff lounge. If you have not placed your trimester two report cards in student cum files, please use the time this week to get that done.
Monitoring reclassified English learners:
Teachers of students in grades 3-6 may have received RFEP monitoring forms in your mailbox. It is a legal requirement for us to monitor RFEPs for two years after reclassification. These forms are very similar to the initial reclassification forms. Please complete the forms, attach student work if necessary to show progress (if PTA criteria wasn’t met) answer criteria question (yes if the student is making adequate progress/ no if intervention is needed) and sign. If intervention is needed then Intervention Plan needs to be filled out. Place completed forms in envelope to Chris’s mail box by Friday, April 22. Please check with Chris if you have any questions.
We are going to schedule a VIP continental breakfast for our English Learners who have moved up at least one CELDT level and for students who have Re-classified as English Proficient. We will hold the continental breakfast during ELD time. Date TBD.
New Impact Rotation:
Friday, April 15th is the last day for our current Impact rotation, you will have a different Impact teacher for your students beginning on Tuesday, April 19th. click here to see the schedule.

Quote of the Week:
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
